Public transport grades

The ÖV-GK enables the analysis of the supply of a location with timetable-based public transport throughout Austria. The dataset consists of 2 elements: First, a categorisation of the public transport offer according to the type of transport offered & the operating interval for all stops, the so-called stop category. And secondly, a spatial analysis of the walking distance from the stop divided into distance classes for access to the stops. In combination of these two elements, the ÖV-GK of a location can be determined. The methodology of the ÖV-GK shows the dependency between the quality of the public transport offer available at the stop and the length of the access route accepted by the users.
