Dataset description

For all fixed points, in addition to the coordinates in the system of the Austrian Land Surveying (Usage System of the Military Geographical Institute = MGI), the coordinates in the globally stored international European system ETRS89 are successively determined in several stages of implementation with varying accuracy. The approximately 59,000 triangulation points (TP) form a three-dimensional network of points throughout Austria with an average distance of about 1.5 km. Of these TPs, approximately 270,000 switch-on points (EP) were derived with an average distance of 500 m.
