EUB Tuxer Ferner_ concession

Pursuant to Section 21 of the Cable Car Act 2003 (SeilbG 2003), the concession is a prerequisite for the construction and operation of a public cable car. The grant of the concession establishes the non-profit status of this cable car. The concession certificate shall specify, among other things, the duration and periods subject to operating obligations, as well as the protection against competition. According to the requirements of § 28 SeilbG 2003, the concession may be extended by the cableway authority upon fulfilment of the conditions. If, in accordance with § 90 SeilbG 2003, the operation of a cable car is permanently suspended, the concession also expires.
