Solar radiation 2013 Tyrol

Atmospherically corrected solar radiation in the form of the annual total and the half-yearly totals Grid 1 m² resolution. Based on the digital surface model DOM as of the end of 2012 in resolution 1 m² solar radiation was calculated over the course of the year of the sun and added up after months. The semi-hourly solar position and the shadowing of terrain, buildings and vegetation were simulated nationwide. The irradiation values simulated with their direct and diffus radiation components, which were still cloud-free, were then subjected to an atmospheric correction. To take into account the influence of clouds, satellite data from the geostationary Meteosat satellite from 2004 to 2012 were used. These data form a homogeneous time series with a temporal resolution of 15 minutes and a spatial resolution of 0.02° (approximately 2 km). The grid data set “Solar Radiation 2013 Tirol” is assigned to the INSPIRE data topic Energy Sources (Annex III).
