Directive 2026 on the promotion of sustainable technologies for the production of green energy and the improvement of energy efficiency

The objective of the support is to set effective priorities in the interest of energy efficiency and climate and environmental protection through special incentives with regard to the saving of energy and other elementary resources, the most efficient use of energy and the increased use of alternative energy sources in residential areas. At the same time, attention must be paid to the thermal refurbishment of the building envelope (cf. funding opportunities in the area of refurbishment by the Bgld. Housing promotion) in order to reduce the energy demand and to be able to design the alternative heating system to the lower energy demand.
