Directive on the promotion of electric vehicles

The objective of the support is to set effective priorities in the interest of energy efficiency and climate and environmental protection through special incentives with regard to the saving of energy and other elementary resources, the most efficient use of energy in the field of mobility. Another objective of this Directive is to promote new electric cars (category M1), the conversion of cars (category M1) to demonstrably fully electric operation, new electric light vehicles (category L6e and category L7e), new electric single-track motor vehicles (category L1e electric mopeds and L3e electric motorcycles), including two-track and three-wheel electric motor vehicles for pensioners and disabled persons, and new electric transport wheels. This support is intended to contribute to the reduction of emissions in the transport sector and also to draw attention to alternative drives.
