Directive on the promotion of visits by groups of pupils from Burgenland to European Union institutions

Through non-refundable funding for travel to institutions and bodies of the European Union and the Council of Europe, groups of pupils from Burgenland in Burgenland are to be supported with funding. The funding amount is intended to reduce the costs for the guardian(s) of the pupils participating in the school trip. The aim of this trip is to provide young people with a better understanding of the processes and interrelationships in European politics and to bring them closer to the importance of European integration for Burgenland. They should be able to get to know the European dimension in various areas and to implement it for themselves. If you are travelling to Brussels, it is also recommended to visit the Office for International Relations and the Brussels Liaison Office of the Province of Burgenland.
