Guidelines of the Province of Burgenland for the Promotion of Care for Persons in Need of Care

On the basis of § 14(1)(3) and (3) and § 17(9) Burgenland Social Welfare Act 2024 – Bgld. SHG 2024, LGBl. No 30/2024, in the current version, the Province of Burgenland, as the holder of private rights, can promote the care of persons in need of care from level 3 onwards by means of carers designated by them. If the caregiver named for care establishes an employment relationship with Pflegeservice Burgenland GmbH (non-profit), the state of Burgenland can support part of the wage costs including non-wage labour costs. In addition to funding based on the establishment of an employment relationship, there is another funding model: If the named carer receives pension benefits, cares for a person in need of care living in his or her household and the net household income of all persons living in the household is less than the monthly salary of the salary band B1/1 of Annex 2 to § 79 Burgenländisches Landesbedienstetengesetz 2020 - Bgld. LBedG 2020, LGBl. No 95/2019, as amended, at 40 hours per week per month, the Province of Burgenland may grant support up to this amount.
