Guidelines of the Province of Burgenland for the promotion of mobile paediatric nursing by the association ‘MOKI Burgenland – Mobile paediatric nursing’

The association ‘MOKI Burgenland – Mobile Kinderkrankenpflege’ (hereinafter: MOKI Burgenland) has been active in Burgenland since 2001. It has set itself the task of nursing and caring for children and adolescents at home, as well as advising and supporting guardians in caring for chronically ill, disabled, seriously ill and dying children by specially qualified specialists. From March 2004, MOKI Burgenland was recognized by the state of Burgenland as a nursing service worthy of funding. On the basis of the essential points and principles of the funding guidelines of the state of Burgenland for home care, individual funding conditions and funding modalities for mobile child care were defined in order to promote their needs-based offer nationwide and to ensure their quality implementation.
