Guidelines of the State of Burgenland for the promotion of 24-hour care

On the basis of Sections 33, 34 and 37(2) of the Burgenland Social Welfare Act 2000 - Bgld. SHG 2000, LGBl. No 5/2000, as amended by LGBl. No 70/2022, the Province of Burgenland, as the holder of private rights in accordance with these guidelines, may grant support for 24-hour care to persons in need of care who benefit from 24-hour care and receive support in accordance with Section 21b of the Federal Care Allowance Act (Bundespflegegeldgesetz - BPGG), BGBl. No 110/1993, as amended by BGBl. I No 109/2023, or to their relatives. 24-hour care at home should make a significant contribution to enabling a person in need of care to remain in their familiar living environment and to preventing or at least delaying accommodation in a nursing home. The following guidelines have been adopted for the detailed design of the funding, in particular for the determination of the eligibility conditions and for the determination of the funding amount.
