Guidelines of the State of Burgenland for the promotion of the implementation of professional mobile care services

With the agreement on joint measures by the Federal Government and the Länder for persons in need of care pursuant to Art. 15a B-VG, announced with the LGBl. No 3/1994, the Province of Burgenland has undertaken to ensure a minimum standard of outpatient services for persons in need of care in Burgenland. These services are to be offered across the board. As a social assistance institution, the Land of Burgenland has, pursuant to Paragraph 4(4)(1) and Paragraph 18(1) and (2) of the Burgenland Social Assistance Act 2024 – Bgld. SHG 2024, LGBl. No 30/2024, taking into account regional needs, population structure and recognised scientific evidence in the relevant fields, to ensure social services to an economically justifiable extent. In the course of this, the social assistance institution may also make use of free welfare institutions and other appropriate institutions and organisations. The guidelines in question regulate the detailed provisions for the implementation of professional mobile care services in Burgenland and thus ensure appropriate professional quality and control and, in particular, lay down eligibility criteria.
