ECONNECT - Connecting habitats, connecting people

As part of the ECONNECT project, numerous project ideas were born in a comprehensive integration process of all interested parties. This led to the formulation of a large transnational project with the abbreviation "VEuEr" ("Networking and Experiencing"). Since no funding could be raised for this overall project, the strategy had to be changed. There was a selection process, which should include a total of 4 individual projects, which could be implemented or initiated by ECONNECT during the project period. Since the forest is the formative and characteristic habitat type in the pilot region "Northern Limestone Alps/Eisenwurzen/Dürrenstein", the selection of subprojects also focused on ideas from the working group "Forest". The measures correspond to a mix of project ideas from the module Forest from the project expose VEuEr. Attempts were always made to cover all three essential tasks, from implementation to specialist dialogue and public relations.
