Dataset description

The name Sulzkar and similar terms such as Sulzenalm, Sulzenaualm or Sulzfeld are often found in the Alpine region. Sulz(e) can be explained several times: It is a salt lick for cattle or for game. (However, the salt licks can be found in every alpine pasture and do not form a peculiarity of this kares). On the other hand, a sulphur means an area where water springs or seeps out. (In hazel mountain areas, this can be salty water, sometimes sour water). It is not possible to associate our sulzkar with salty water leakage. The water samples have no noticeable salt concentration. Compared to other sulzkars (e.g. very close to the south of the Zeiritzkampel), the interpretation Kar with springs and seepage waters (Definition Hasitschka) is the most likely. Nowhere in the Gesäuse we find a Hochkar with so many water auras. The land names Brunnkar, Brunnetz, Wassermauer also indicate this abundance of water, and the only small lake in the Gesäuse lies in the Sulzkar.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
