Graz-Geidorf Residents:indoor parking Evaluation

In the Geidorf district of Graz, part of the parking spaces in the existing blue and green zones 8 and 8a were converted into parking spaces for residents with a derogation in summer 2023. In order to learn from the project and to lay the foundations for future projects, the City of Graz has commissioned a comprehensive evaluation of the measures put in place. A significant part of this is the determination of the assessment and view of residents as directly affected vehicle owners/users of a car with a derogation for the implemented measure. The survey took the form of a questionnaire, which was made available online and in paper form, on the following content: • Use of all pitches in zone 8 and 8a • Use of local residents: indoor parking spaces in zone 8 and 8a • General questions (choice of means of transport, use of the car, …) • Questions about the household (number of people, number of cars, living area, ...)
