Dataset description

Die Dachwerke des 1. Bezirks wurden im Rahmen des Projekts "Dachkataster Wien - Innere Stadt" von Bundesdenkmalamt und Stadt Wien untersucht. Für die etwa 1.500 Gebäude wurde das Baualter der Dächer, ihre jeweilige Verteilung und Anzahl, sowie deren Ausbauzustand und das Jahr des Dachausbaus erhoben. Auf der Basis dieser Erhebung erfolgte zwischen 2016 und 2020 die Erforschung einer repräsentativen Auswahl von 205 Dachwerken. Anhand dieser Beispiele konnten die historischen Konstruktionstypen analysiert und in eine zeitliche Abfolge gesetzt werden. Die Baualterkartierung der Dächer wird online zur Verfügung gestellt und umfasst: - das Baualter unterteilt in 13 Epochen - die Verortung von 78 Objekten mit 205 untersuchten Dachwerken - 205 Dachwerke mit dendrochronologischer Datierung, Plandarstellung und typologischer Einordnung - Übersicht zu den Konstruktionstypen der Wiener Innenstadt
