Das Gendering Add-In soll Unterstützung und Hinweise für die praktische und einheitliche Anwendung einer geschlechtergerechten Sprache bieten. Die Worttabelle zum Gendering Add-In wurde von der Stadt Wien umfassend erweitert und kann an den Wortschatz und die Bedürfnisse der jeweiligen Organisationen bzw. Nutzerinnen und Nutzer angepasst werden. Die Tabelle im Format csv wird zusätzlich für andere Anwendungen angeboten. Früher wurde das Binnen-I verwendet, 2021 erfolgte die Anpassung auf "Genderstern *" für die Kurzform.
