Expert opinion on soil studies in the course of the demolition of the former gas station, Wiener Straße 87, 2640 Gloggnitz

The municipality of Gloggnitz is a tenant of the property Wiener Straße 87, 2640 Gloggnitz. On the property in question was a former petrol station. For the planned reuse of the property – in particular for the construction of a new fire station – the demolition of the existing petrol station was necessary. In the course of the demolition work, official soil surveys were carried out. The aim of these investigations was to identify, assess and classify possible soil contamination or contamination resulting from previous use as a service station in order to ensure proper, professional and legally compliant disposal. The reports published here document the qualified sampling carried out, the analytical tests and the professional assessment of the results. They serve the transparent traceability of the measures taken in connection with environmental and soil protection as well as the preparation of the further use of the property.
