ÖCPA 2015

ÖCPA (Austrian Classification of Goods) Description: The ÖCPA is the Austrian version of the CPA. In order to better reflect the specificities of Austrian economic activity, a further hierarchical level was introduced for the ÖCPA 1996 and ÖCPA 2002, that of the national subcategories. The level of the national subcategories was encoded by adding a single-digit numeric field and separated from the encoding of the subcategory level (6-digit, numeric) by a hyphen. At subcategory level, however, CPA and ÖCPA are completely identical. Since CPA 2.1, like CPA 2008, shows greater detail in its structure, the level of national subcategories is no longer necessary for ÖCPA 2015, as it was for ÖCPA 2008.
