Register-based employment history – change of status from 2010 to 2024 by labour market status before and after the change of status

The register-based employment histories are a complete survey of employment careers, which is carried out by means of the evaluation of the administrative and register data used for the register counting or coordinated employment statistics. This not only creates overlap-free, but also seamless careers for all persons who have ever occurred in one of the data sources used – even if they never had a main residence in Austria. The concepts of coordinated employment statistics have been adopted as far as possible. This dataset presents the transitions from one labour market status to another (change of status) of persons aged 15 years and over in the period from 2010 to 2024. Changes within an employment with the same employer – i.e., for example, a change from apprentice to employee or a change from full-time to part-time – are excluded.
