Air quality monitoring stations in Austria as of January 2015

As of January 2015, the report ‘Luftgütemessstellen in Österreich’ describes all air quality units operated on a statutory basis - in Austria: These are measuring points for gaseous air pollution - substances, particulate matter, wet deposition and dust deposition as well as measuring points for meteorological quantities. The air quality networks in Austria are operated by the offices of the state governments and the Federal Environment Agency. In addition, the report covers the measuring points for ultraviolet radiation, which are supervised by the University of Innsbruck on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management in cooperation with the operators of the air quality networks and the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics.
