EQA scheme 2016

As part of the activities of the Forum Schall working group, the interlaboratory test "road noise measurement" was carried out in 2016. The task was to measure the energy-equivalent continuous sound level at a given measuring point on the B20. From the measurement results, the noise indices Lday, Levening, Lnight and Lden were to be calculated in accordance with the environmental noise legislation. The parameters vehicle categories and traffic levels at day, evening and night time necessary for this calculation were given to the participants. The results of all 23 participating verifiers were statistically evaluated. For the evaluation of the EQAS data, the ‘z-Score’ (standardised deviation from the setpoint) was determined for each laboratory. Since its foundation in 1994, the Forum Schall has regularly conducted interlaboratory tests and comparative measurements.
