viadonau Open Services

The RIS Open Services interface provides real-time information about the Donauwasserstraße in Austria. These include water constrictions, bridge passage heights, water sections, lane depths, lock status, traffic situation and wind information. States and lists are available for each category. On the Open Service Portal, the provided interfaces and their content are described and can be tested there without registration. Using the “Try it out” function for each service category, the respective data (limited in the query frequency) can be retrieved. For an API key, send an official request to doris-info@viadonau.org with the following information: Name applicant (including contact person in the case of a company), company/private person, address, reason of use, desired interfaces.
