Popis stanovništva, kućanstava i stanova u Republici Hrvatskoj 2021. godine proveden je u razdoblju od 13. rujna 2021. do 26. rujna 2021. samostalnim popisivanjem i u razdoblju 27. rujna 2021. do 17. listopada 2021. na način da su popisivači obavili popisivanje po prostornim jedinicama. Državni zavod za statistiku je razvio ATOM servis za demografske prostorne podatke dostupne na GeoSTAT portalu DZS-a. Za preuzimanje su dostupni podaci o obrazovanju, odnosno završenoj školi (bez škole i osnovna škola, srednja škola, visoko obrazovanje) i aktivnosti (aktivno, neaktivno). Spomenuti podaci objavljeni su na razini mreže 1000m. Pri zaštiti agregiranih podataka Popisa 2021. na razini populacijske mreže veličine 1x1 km2 ("Z" - zaštićeno) primjenjuje se pravilo minimalnog broja jedinica, pri čemu se štite agregirani podaci koji se odnose na manje od 4 statističke jedinice. U slučaju da se povjerljivi zaštićeni podatak može izračunati na temelju drugih podatka, štite se i ti podaci kako bi se osigurala sekundarna povjerljivost.
