NSDI Catalogue service - INSPIRE

The National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NIPP) catalogue service is the central place for searching and accessing spatial data relevant to the INSPIRE Directive and falling under the competence of the public authorities of the Republic of Croatia that are subjects of the NSDI. The service has been implemented in accordance with the OGC CSW 2.0.2 standard. (Catalogue Service for the Web) and INSPIRE Technical Guidelines for Finding Service Implementation. All metadata elements are derived according to Metadata Specification v.3.0. which includes the above mentioned standards. The service allows searching through INSPIRE/NIPP topics, geographical coverage, keywords, by NSDI subjects or type of source. The basic functionalities that the service supports are queries (query) and metadata retrieval (GetRecords and GetRecordsById). The metadata obtained through this service is encoded and exchanged in XML format (EXtensible Markup Language). The service is developed and maintained by the State Geodetic Administration in accordance with the NSDI Act as the National Contact Point for NSDI and INSPIRE.
