Dataset description

The database shall be publicly available on the Agency's website in the form of a GIS browser. The data will be available upon request (by completing the Request for Access to Information, according to the Information Catalogue of the AZO) and through the web browser and through the WMS/WFS GIS web service. High resolution layers represent the database on the state of the land cover of the Republic of Croatia for five categories: Built Areas, Forest Areas, Agricultural Areas, Wetlands and Water Surfaces. The data is in the "grid" format and updated every three years. Legal basis: National Environmental Strategy (NN 46/02), National Environmental Action Plan (NN 46/02). Target beneficiaries: Ministries, state administration bodies, faculties, non-governmental organizations, professional and general public.
