Register of waste management permits and certificates

Publicly available on the Agency’s website. For the general public, a certain amount of data is available, while targeted users are given access to the entire content of the database with a password that is assigned upon request. The database contains: data on waste management permits (hazardous, non-hazardous manufacturing and municipal) – attributes describing the type of permit (e.g. collection, recovery, disposal…), legal entities that have been granted a permit (company, address), date of issue, types of waste and other data; attributes describing data from the Register of transporters/intermediaries/exporters of non-hazardous waste – type of certificate, legal entities registered in the Register, type of waste, etc.; information on authorised concessionaires for the collection/recovery/disposal of special categories of waste. Within the database, there is a list of waste properties that make it hazardous and a list of waste in cross-border traffic and a Waste Catalogue in which the types of waste are determined according to key numbers. Legal basis: Sustainable Waste Management Act (OG 94/13) The data in the database is continuously collected from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy and the competent authorities in the counties and the City of Zagreb. Target beneficiaries: Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy, inspection services, competent authorities in counties and the City of Zagreb and the general public.
