Register of bodies according to which the HAA has taken measures in accordance with document HAA-P-7/6 Suspension, withdrawal or restriction of accreditation The Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA) is an independent and non-profit public institution that performs the functions of the National Accreditation Service in the Republic of Croatia. It was established by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Croatia (OG 158/2004 and 44/2005, 30/2010), based on the Accreditation Act (OG 158/2003, 75/2009, 56/2013). HAA performs conformity assessment of products, processes and services with technical regulations and standards performed by professionally and technically qualified laboratories, certification and inspection bodies, greenhouse gas verifiers, organizers of proficiency testing. Accreditation is a document issued by the HAA, which is an internationally recognized way of demonstrating competence for conformity assessment in the areas of testing, calibration, certification (products, QMS, EMS, personnel), inspection, verification of greenhouse gases and organization of proficiency testing. Accreditation is a voluntary decision of the management and management of a conformity assessment body, and by accreditation a conformity assessment body meets the conditions for authorisations, designations and notifications under EU directives and Croatian regulations. Accredited bodies give confidence in testing, certification and inspection services regardless of whether it is a service to the state administration (legally regulated area) or to the client under contract (voluntary area). HAA meets all the requirements of the international and European standard for accreditation bodies accepted in the Republic of Croatia as the Croatian standard HRN EN ISO/IEC 17011:2005 and the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008 setting out the requirements for accreditation and market surveillance relating to the marketing of products.
