Flow extreme rain is a screening tool that shows which way water will run through the landscape by extreme rain if there is no sewerage or leakage. The product can be used independently or, for example, combined with BlueSpot. Flow extreme rain is part of Denmark’s Hydrologic altitude models.
Flow extreme rain is a raster map showing upland size in square meters for each cell. The map can be used to analyse where the water would run in case of extreme rain. It is assumed that the terrain is impenetrable, i.e. it will show a worst-case scenario where sewage drains and seepages are not taken into account.
The product can be used independently or, for example, combined with BlueSpot to examine where the water in a given BlueSpot comes from.
