Dataset description

The data set provides concentrations for the air pollutants Ozone (O3) at 1 km grid combining monitoring air quality data in a ‘regression-interpolation-merging mapping’ methodology and the observational values of the air quality monitoring stations used in the interpolation. It covers Europe for the year 2020. It provides estimates for human health related indicators of pollutants ozone (93.2 percentile of maximum daily 8-hour means, SOMO35, SOMO10) and vegetation related ozone indicators (AOT40 for vegetation and for forests) for the year 2020. This data set is used to estimate population and vegetation exposure to air pollution, as an input to the indicator AIR004 (Exposure of Europe's ecosystems to ozone: https://www.eea.europa.eu/ims/exposure-of-europes-ecosystems-to-ozone) and for the health impact assessments published in the Air Quality in Europe reports (https://www.eea.europa.eu/publications#c7=en&c11=5&c14=air-quality-reports&c12=&b_start=0). The methodology and the corresponding maps can be found in the 2022 Eionet report "European air quality maps for 2020. PM10, PM2.5, Ozone, NO2, NOx and Benzo(a)pyrene spatial estimates and their uncertainties" (ETC/HE Report 12/2022) available at https://www.eionet.europa.eu/etcs/etc-he/products/etc-he-report-2022-12-european-air-quality-maps-for-2020-pm10-pm2-5-ozone-no2-nox-and-benzo-a-pyrene-spatial-estimates-and-their-uncertainties

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
