Dataset description

Context Hyperspectral libraries for unvarnished oil paints on canvas. The oil colours and mixtures selected as swatches were based on materials that Edvard Munch (1863-1944) is suspected to have used on his Aula paintings (1909-1916) situated at the University of Oslo's festive hall in Norway's capital. Contents A total of seven files are included, which may be classified as: PDF file: description of paint composition, library layout and acquisition conditions for HSI. All spectra included as images. HSI files: .img and .hdr files (contained in three .zip files) are provided for two separate libraries ((1) and (2)). Spectra (in the VNIR and SWIR ranges) for the endmembers are presented in a .xlsx file per library. ATR-FTIR files: .sg files (contained in one .zip file) for the FTIR spectra for oil paints found in Library (2) - these serve as ground truth (in the MIR range) for the oil paints. Library 1 (VNIR only) The first set of reference canvases (Library (1)) was made in 2009 at the Conservation Studies department (UiO). Pigments in powder form were ground in linseed oil and applied by brush, with increasing amounts of white spirits. This library served as a reference for unvarnished, handmade oil paints in linseed oil, and was scanned after 11 years of natural ageing. Captured in four swathes in the VNIR range (400-1000 nm) - each canvas is comprised of two swathes (001 and 002; 003 and 004). The paint applications by brush were made both neat and diluted in white spirits (0–10% w/v), and selected swatches per colour/mixture were varnished (both single and double applications) with gum dammar and Laropal A81 (10% w/v in Shellsol A and B, with Tinuvin 251 UV stabiliser). Captured in six swathes in the VNIR range (400-1000 nm) and six swathes in the SWIR range (1000-2500 nm) - each canvas is comprised of three swathes (001-003; 004-006). Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
