Black Sea ichthyoplankton data from the 'BRIDGE-BS July-August 2022 cruise' performed in Romanian Waters

This dataset contains ichthyoplankton (fish eggs and larvae) data collected during the BRIDGE-BS research cruise conducted in July-August 2022 in Romanian waters of the Black Sea. Ichthyoplankton samples were collected by vertical tows using a Hansen net at stations covering coastal, marine, offshore, and variable-salinity waters. Samples were preserved in 37% formaldehyde solution (8 ml per 100 ml sample) and stored in 1000 ml plastic bottles. The dataset includes informations such as sampling stations, geographic coordinates and ichthyoplankton abundance and taxonomic identification (to the lowest possible taxonomic level). The data file is in OBIS format. These data were generated within the framework of the BRIDGE-BS project (EU H2020, grant agreement No 101000240) and are intended for scientific research and environmental assessment purposes.
