Dataset description

Airborne atmospheric measurements were conducted aboard the UK FAAM (Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements) BAE-146 aircraft as part of the CLARIFY project (Cloud-Aerosol-Radiation Interactions and Forcing; August–September 2017).  Associated datasets are also available at: Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements; Natural Environment Research Council; Met Office (2017): CLARIFY: in-situ airborne observations by the FAAM BAE-146 aircraft. Centre for Environmental Data Analysis, date of citation. http://catalogue.ceda.ac.uk/uuid/38ab7089781a4560b067dd6c20af3769 This dataset consists of several measurement outputs, categorized as follows: "core_faam_CLARIFY.zip": includes outputs from the core instrument suite for each scientific flight. These instruments measure key atmospheric dynamics and thermodynamic variables, including wind speed and direction, temperature (T), and humidity. Gas measurements, such as carbon monoxide, are also included in core_faam. "core-cloud-phy_faam_CLARIFY.zip": includes outputs from a wing-mounted Passive Cavity Aerosol Spectrometer Probe (PCASP) and a Cloud Droplet Probe (CDP) for each scientific flight. "ccnrack_faam_CLARIFY.zip": includes outputs from a Droplet Measurement Technologies (DMT) dual-column cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) counter for each scientific flight, which measures the CCN concentrations at different supersaturations. "AMS_man_CLARIFY.zip": includes outputs from a compact time-of-flight aerosol mass spectrometer (C-ToF-AMS, Aerodyne Research Inc.) for each scientific flight, which measures mass concentrations of organic, sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium. "SP2_man_CLARIFY.zip": includes outputs from the Single Particle Soot Photometer (SP2) for each scientific flight, which measures black carbon (soot) content in individual airborne aerosol particles.

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
