Dataset description

CLIMAAXKorsou Phase 2 — Coastal Flood Hazard and Risk Assessment for Curacao Project: CLIMAAXKorsou Phase 2 Organization: Meteorological Department Curacao (MDC) Category: Hazard / Risk License: CC-BY-4.0 Description Coastal flood hazard and risk assessment for Curacao under 18 IPCC AR6 sea level rise scenarios (3 SSP pathways x 2 time horizons x 3 percentiles). Bathtub model using 10m DEM with MSL as zero datum. Exposure assessed using 103,117 Microsoft building footprints and 2,988 OpenStreetMap points of interest. Risk density calculated per 315 CBS neighbourhoods. Files - `coastal_flood_scenarios.csv` — 18 scenario summary (SLR cm, flooded area km2, max depth m) - `coastal_flood_zones.gpkg` — Vectorized flood extent polygons with severity classification (GeoPackage, EPSG:32619) - `coastal_flood_by_neighbourhood.csv` — Risk density per neighbourhood (worst case SSP5-8.5 2100 P83) Key Results - Worst case (SSP5-8.5 2100, 88cm SLR): 1,316 parcels flooded, 847 at significant depth (>25cm) - No parcels exceed 1m flood depth (max SLR is 88cm) - Risk concentrated along south coast (Willemstad, Spaanse Water) - SLR fan chart with P17-P50-P83 uncertainty envelopes per SSP Methodology DEM elevation zero = mean sea level. IPCC AR6 Table 9.9 Caribbean SLR projections applied as uniform water surface. Flood depth = SLR - elevation. Severity classification: <25cm, 25-50cm, 50-100cm. Risk density = population density x flood fraction. Workflow Included in this upload: - `01_coastal_flood.ipynb` — Jupyter notebook (all code, visualizations, database writes) - `_helpers.py` — Shared database connections and plot helpers Note: Notebook paths are sanitized for sharing. Requires PostgreSQL with climate_data database. Citation MDC (2026). CLIMAAXKorsou Phase 2: Coastal Flood Risk Assessment for Curacao. Meteorological Department Curacao. Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
