CNR-ISTI Rooms

HoloLens 2 Sensor Streaming Dataset – CNR Rooms Description Recordings of HoloLens 2 sensor streams from short indoor walks inside three rooms of the CNR Pisa Research Area.  This dataset includes synchronized multimodal streams from RGB, depth, and spatial tracking sensors captured in controlled indoor environments for research purposes. The data were acquired using the HoloLens2ForCV StreamRecorder tool, which enables capturing Research Mode sensors simultaneously including depth, visible light cameras, and head, hand, and eye tracking.  Detailed documentation on capture format and data preprocessing is available at the StreamRecorder GitHub repository. The dataset supports research in 3D perception, spatial mapping, sensor fusion, and mixed reality interaction. Data Collection - Device: Microsoft HoloLens 2 (Research Mode enabled)  - Capture tool: HoloLens2ForCV StreamRecorder (C++ UWP app)  - Environment: Three indoor rooms at CNR (i16, i32, C60)  - Sessions:    - Room i16 – 2023‑08‑09    - Room i32 – 2023‑10‑12    - Room C60 – 2023‑12‑12   The dataset captures multiple synchronized sensor streams per session with calibration and pose metadata.
