Dataset description

Dynamical DownScaling (DDS) simulations in DISTENDER have been performed using the ICOsahedral Nonhydrostatic (ICON) limited-area model (ICON-CLM), version 2.6.5, driven by EC-Earth3-Veg (EE3V) GCM. The dataset contains climate data, indicators, and impacts for the Metropolitan City of Turin (CMTo) core case study at 9 km spatial resolution from the Round-2 DDS simulations.  The dataset covers the period 2011-2020 for the historical simulation, and 2041-2050 for the future scenarios simulations. Climate simulations in Round-2 differ from Round-1 simulations only in the  land-use dataset used in the downscaling approach. Round-2 simulations used the localized land-use scenarios developed within DISTENDER WP3 activities, while Round-1 simulations used the GLOBCover-2009 dataset. More details about the provided variable, levels, estimated climate indicators, and impacts are provided in the README files.

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
