Edge AI for Precision Livestock Farming: KPI Dataset from a Vision-Based Cattle Monitoring Field Trial

This dataset contains key performance indicators (KPIs) recorded during the field evaluation of a computer vision-based cattle behavior monitoring system developed within the XGain project. Measurements include system-level metrics such as power consumption, latency, data throughput, system resource usage (CPU, GPU, RAM), and network performance. Data were collected in real-world pasture conditions using a YOLOv8 detection model deployed on a Jetson Orin Nano device. Each file corresponds to a specific aspect of the pipeline performance and supports reproducibility and benchmarking of similar remote sensing systems in agricultural environments.
