GRAIN - Grocery Product Recognition and Analysis in Unconstrained Environments

GRAIN - Grocery product Recognition and Analysis in UnconstraIned EnviroNments - is a multi-task image dataset supporting product detection, label localization, and text recognition in natural household conditions. It includes over 5,500 images captured using mobile devices under diverse lighting scenarios and features diverse viewpoints, occlusions, and spontaneous object arrangements typical of everyday use. The dataset is divided into three annotated and partially overlapping subsets: (1) annotations for detecting five common product categories (2) region annotations for label detection on wine bottles; and (3) semantic-level annotations for textual fields on wine labels.   ACKNOWLEDGEMENTSThis work was conducted as part of the Watson project, funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, under grant agreement No. 101084265.   DISCLAIMERFunded by the European Union.
