Dataset description

This dataset is an Analysis Ready Data (ARD) cube derived from Sentinel-2 optical imagery, specifically developed to support the objectives of the I-SEAMORE project. The collection provides a robust temporal stack covering a nine-month period, from January to September 2025, and is focused on the project’s designated test area in Troia, Portugal. The primary goal of delivering this ARD product is to simplify data utilization by providing cloud-free and atmospherically corrected images suitable for immediate use in applications like maritime surveillance.  The source imagery originates from the Sentinel-2 mission, launched on June 23, 2014. It utilizes the Multi Spectral Instrument (MSI), which captures optical data across 13 spectral bands (443nm to 2190nm). The general spatial resolution of the raw data varies between 10m and 60m, depending on the specific wavelength band. The mission provides an average observation period of 9 - 5 days. The raw data is accessible as open data through the Copernicus Data Spaces Ecosystem. For comprehensive mission details, please refer to the official metadata link: https://dataspace.copernicus.eu/explore-data/data-collections/sentinel-data/sentinel-2. This final ARD product is optimized for efficient processing and distribution. All information within the data cube has been resampled to a consistent 12-meter spatial resolution and is delivered in the WGS 84 / Pseudo-Mercator (EPSG: 3857) projection. To maximize accessibility and performance in cloud computing environments, the entire collection is distributed in the COG (Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF) format.

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
