Lobbying in Europe Dataset (DemoTrans)

This dataset is published as part of the DemoTrans project’s commitment to investigating the intersection of democracy, transparency, and economic governance in Europe. Specifically, it supports Deliverable D4.5, which focuses on summarizing and documenting lobbying reforms and practices at the European level. The dataset provides systematic information on lobbying activities involving the European Parliament, with particular attention to institutional transparency reforms and disclosure mechanisms implemented since 2019. It is designed to facilitate empirical research on political transparency, interest representation, and democratic accountability within the European Union. The dataset is publicly available via the Open Science Framework (OSF) and Zenodo repositories.
