Dataset description

UC2 explores and demonstrates how real-time data exchange between connected and automated vehicles and traffic infrastructure can enhance urban mobility. This is achieved through dynamic traffic signal control, cooperative manoeuvres, predictive traffic management and AI-based video processing. These features enable key CCAM functionalities in complex city environments. This use case explores three scenarios: Scenario 1 prioritises emergency vehicles along emergency corridos using GNSS-based positioning, while enabling cooperative manoeuvres of connected and automated vehicles to clear the lane for the emergency vehicle. Scenario 2 aims to optimise traffic flow using live CCAM data and an urban digital twin to implement dynamic control strategies and alert connected and automated vehicles to incidents along their routes. Scenario 3 aims to protect vulnerable road users (VRUs) by detecting collision risks and triggering timely warnings for vehicles and VRUs. UC2 is implemented in the heart of the city centre of Barcelona, around the Gran Via corridor and its surrounding areas, which are highly dynamic and complex environments. The selected area includes a large emergency corridor to test priority for emergency vehicles, a grid of certain dimensions to test traffic optimisation in case of incidents, and a complex intersection with pedestrian and bike lanes to test services to protect VRUs (mainly pedestrians and cyclists). The tests were carried out in two stages: (1) First, the three scenarios were tested with the emergency vehicle, connected vehicles (IIDIADA) and VRUs at the test site in Barcelona. These tests demonstrated how physical and digital infrastructure can support CCAM in complex, real-world urban scenarios. These tests took place from September to November 2025. (2) Autonomous functions of the MILLA shuttle were tested at the UTAC closed circuit in France in November 2025. These tests demonstrated how the shuttle reacted autonomously to the DENM messages sent by the infrastructure, in a manner similar to that observed in the Barcelona tests.

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
