Software and data for "Stretch and flow at the gliovascular interface: high-fidelity modelling of the mechanics of astrocyte endfeet"

This repository provides the software and data for the paper  "Stretch and flow at the gliovascular interface: high-fidelity modelling of the mechanics of astrocyte endfeet" In particular, it contains the following data: file description endfeet-mechanics-main.zip The code used to run all simulations and postprocessing steps. Also available at: https://github.com/MariusCausemann/endfoot-mechanics surfaces.zip The surface triangulations for each cell extracted from the segmentations in .ply format, suitable for viewing in e.g. paraview or further processing. mesh.zip The mesh used to run all simulations in .xdmf format. artnew.xdmf : mesh with volumetric markers facets.xdmf: respective boundary markers mesh_refined.zip refined version of the mesh, used for the refinement study. imagedata.zip segmentation and raw EM data of the tissue cube containing the vessel segment displacement.html Interactive visualisation of the displacement field - open and view with any browser. pore_pressure.html Interactive visualisation of the (pore) fluid pressure  - open and view with any browser. displacement.mp4 video of the displacement field of the model presented (as in Figure 2). pore_pressure.mp4 video of the (pore) fluid pressure field of the model presented (as in Figure 2).
