Dataset description

This dataset contains synthetic Over-the-Air (OTA) update artefacts generated for demonstration and testing purposes within the Confidential6G project, Use Case 3. The dataset includes artificially generated firmware binaries, metadata, and integrity verification hashes designed to illustrate OTA update workflows without exposing any production or device-specific information. Contents: firmware.bin – Randomly generated synthetic firmware image used to demonstrate OTA update packaging and validation. metadata.json – Metadata describing platform information, checksum references, signature placeholders, update type, and UC3 context. integrity_hash.txt – SHA256 checksums for verifying firmware integrity. The dataset does not contain any production firmware, proprietary code, or real device information. All content is synthetic and intended solely for experimentation, demonstration, and reproducible research.
