Dataset description

Background The Transonic Cascade TEAMAero (TCTA) is a compressor cascade test case designed at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) via numerical optimization for the TEAMAero research consortium. The cascade has a pitch of 65 mm and a stagger angle of 45.8° with respect to the horizontal axis. The profile shape is provided in this dataset as a .csv file. The cascade has been tested at the DLR's Transonic Cascade Wind Tunnel (TGK) via time resolved particle image velocimetry and shadowgraphy. A subset of this data is provided in this repository for interested users. Data description Six datasets from 3 measurement runs (37, 46, 48) of PIV and shadowgraph measurements at the cascade's aerodynamic design point (ADP). The datasets contain selected data from the first sequence of 8 bursts of recordings performed for each run. The PIV and shadowgraph images are not synchronous, but they were taken simultaneously capturing different FOVs of the same configuration. See cited literature for more info. The datasets were stored as HDF5 NetCDF files with the xarray Python package. One YAML file with information on the cascade's operating point and the experimental configuration. One csv file containing the profile of the TCTA blade testet in the TGK wind tunnel. Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
