Dataset description

This dataset gathers a selection of output variables from three water hosing simulations performed with the eddy-resolving global coupled model EC-Earth3P-VHR (Moreno-Chamarro et al., 2025), and three control simulations without water hosing. It is based on cy36r4 of the atmospheric model IFS, version 3.6 of the ocean model NEMO, and the sea ice model LIM3. The eddy-rich configuration of the model has an approximate grid spacing of about 8 km in the ocean (ORCA12) and about 16 km in the atmosphere (T1279). To account for the influence of internal variability in the response to the meltwater forcing and explore the sensitivity to the initial AMOC state, we have run three different water hosing experiments of 21 years starting from three different initial states of a 1950 control run corresponding to strong, moderate and weak AMOC conditions. The water hosing is applied according to a spatial and temporal distribution derived from observations (Bamber et al., 2018), with a constant annual average of 0.1 Sv. This freshwater is included as an addition to the river discharge that has 0 psu and the local seawater temperature. This dataset distributes for each water-hosing and control simulation the annual means for all 21 years of the AMOC streamfunction in depth (vsftyz) and density space (vsftyrhopoto). It also includes the last 10 annual means (years 12–21) for the following variables over the North Atlantic region: Mixed layer depth (mlotst) Sea surface salinity (sos) Sea surface temperature (tos) Sea ice concentration (siconc; in DJF) Surface air temperature (tas) Sea level pressure (psl) Module of surface ocean velocity (uvo) And the climatologies for the last 10 years of the following 3D ocean fields: Potential temperature (thetao) Practical salinity (so) Ocean density (rhopoto) Zonal ocean velocity (uo) Meridional ocean velocity (vo)   References: Bamber, J. Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
