XBeach results for Dniestr barrier beach under present and future storm scenarios (DOORS project)

The data corresponds to the results of XBeach in .nc for the Dniestr barrier beach area, in Ukraine, near Odessa. The model have used inputs provided by Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, a partner involved in the DOORS project, through simulations using the WAM model. These inputs are based on data from both EURO-CORDEX and CMIP6. The data is used for the following periods: Historical data: 1985–2005 SSP2-4.5 scenario: 2070–2100 SSP5-8.5 scenario: 2070–2100 An extreme value analysis has been performed to obtain the Return Periods (RP) of the storms associated with each of these scenarios. The study focuses on RP values of 20, 50, and 100 years, helping to assess the likelihood and potential impact of extreme storm events under both historical and future climate conditions. The name of the files follows the structure: inputmodel_Scenario_RP.nc. Then, the wave time series for each simulation is also present for three different points, one on the offshore, one of the middle of the grid, and the last close to the shoreline.  For these data, the name of the files follows the structure: position_inputmodel_Scenario_RP.nc.
