The Excel file shows the building permit situation in Espoo, the estimated and actual costs of municipal engineering, the amount of construction annually, the building permits granted, the construction projects started and the phase of land use planning. A concise description of the material (a more detailed description and abbreviations are in the same Excel file as the material): **Espoo building permit situation** Number of building permits in each stage by small area over a five-year period. Does not include abandoned building permits. **Espoo's estimated municipal infrastructure costs** The indicator shows the estimated costs per small area for the construction projects identified in the area. The indicator describes the estimated costs of the current phase of civil engineering construction, and the estimate will be revised as the phases progress. The sum includes municipal engineering construction and street and landscaping construction. **Espoo Municipal Engineering Actual Costs** The indicator shows the actual costs of civil engineering construction for the current year and the previous four years in euros by small area. The sum includes municipal engineering construction as well as street and landscaping construction. Some of the projects extend to more than one small area, in which case the actual costs are allocated to the small area where the main part of the project is located. **Espoo construction volume per year** The sums of the floor square metres of completed buildings in a small area by decade. Before and after the 1960s. Residential and non-residential buildings are shown separately in the diagram. **Building permits granted in Espoo** Number of floor square metres in accordance with granted new building permits (A-licences) by small area for the current year and the two previous years. Authorisations shall be classified according to their intended use. **Construction projects started in Espoo** One square metre of floor area of construction projects in force in Espoo, number of k-m2.
