Espoo's ground data consists of laser scans carried out in 2017 and 2013 and the ground points interpreted from them. The data covers the entire city and the Kauniainen region. Laser scanning data describes the Earth's surface and is a three-dimensional point-like dataset. The Espoo soil datasets are published as LAZ and DWG files by grid . The coordinate system is ETRS-GK25 (EPSG:3879) and the height system is N2000. The surface score published as open data consists of the "Model Key Points" of the surface model, where a tolerance of +/- 5 cm was allowed for the thinned surface model.
