Dataset description

You can use the address interface of Uusimaa to search for official addresses and their coordinates for the entire Uusimaa region. The interface provides the coordinates, postal code and municipality name for the address, as well as the street address and municipality name in Swedish, if available. The interface provides the data in JSON or XML format. You can also use the interface to search for addresses based on distance, bounding box or coordinates. The coordinate system used is WGS84 (EPSG: 4326). [Documentation](https://paikkatietohaku.api.hel.fi/schema/docs/) in accordance with the OpenAPI specification is available for the interface. The data available through the interface is based on the data provided by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency’s [Digiroad service](https://vayla.fi/en/transport-network/data/digiroad). ##API key The use of the interface requires an API key.
