Building prohibitions map of the City of Helsinki

The building prohibitions dataset is a thematic map compiled by the City Measuring Services of the Helsinki Urban Environment Division of the building prohibition areas in force in the city. An area or real estate may be prohibited from building for the purpose of drawing up, modifying or continuing the planning of a station or master plan. As a result of the organisational change of the City of Helsinki, the City Environment Committee has been responsible for imposing the building ban since 1 June 2017. Prior to this, the building ban has been imposed by the City Board. The material can be downloaded in several formats, including JSON, KML, CSV, Esri Shape and XML. The available formats can always be found in the outputFormat section of the service [GetCapabilities survey](https://kartta.hel.fi/ws/geoserver/avoindata/wfs?request=GetCapabilities).
