The Helsinki districts dataset includes the boundary lines of the city districts, as well as the names and identifiers of the areas. The initial data for the maintenance of the city district dataset is the base map and up-to-date detailed plans. The dataset is maintained in vector form in the Oracle Spatial database. The city districts dataset is constantly updated on the basis of city planning. The dataset is maintained by the City Survey Services of the City of Helsinki Urban Environment Division. The data is available for download in several formats, including JSON, KML, CSV, Esri Shape, and XML.
